Product Launches, Carol Singing and a Big Fall!

20th Oct 2010

This week's exciting news at Opera Bespoke HQ is that we are delighted to have been appointed as the classical music provider to perform at Harrods, House of Fraser and the Excel Centre to launch products for L'Oreal and the Rezidor Hotel Group.

These recognised brands were looking for world class operatic entertainment to draw attention to their products and first class client service to ensure successful product launches. We are proud to be recognised as the best in our field on both counts, and look forward to bringing something truly unique to these exciting events.

We will be working closely with the marketing teams at  L'Oreal and the Rezidor Hotel Group to select repertoire appropriate to their audiences, choose costumes to suit their brands and above all put on outstanding operatic performances. The delightful sound of beautiful professionally trained operatic voices always draws in the crowds and creates an amazing spectacle bringing a real feel good factor at the launch of a product. We'll update you over the coming weeks on the success of these events.

Carol singers have also been a big hit this week. It maybe wet and gloomy outside, but it looks like you are already thinking about your Christmas Eve and Christmas Day celebrations. We've had lots of calls for our professional carol singers for Christmas events or to kick off the Christmas festivities at the office do. It seems carol singing, mince pies and mulled wine are a must when planning your Christmas!

Now for our weekly interesting opera fact, did you know that in September 2009, Pensacola (Florida) Opera conductor David Ott fell 14 feet into the orchestra pit after the first performance of The Widow’s Lantern, which he also composed. He broke nine vertebrae, dislocated his shoulder, and injured an ankle. He is 95% sure he will be able to conduct operas again!
