Singing Waiters Wedding Reception

Singing Waiters, Wedding Reception, Mangapp Manor, London

Opera Bespoke was delighted to perform its renowned surprise singing waiters act for over 200 wedding guests at Mangapp Manor in a beautiful marquee set in idyllic countryside surroundings. The groom had decided to give his wife and all their guests a delightful surprise.

We created a performance that was specifically tailored to the groom’s requirements devising appropriate repertoire and the all important surprise staged opening. We also prepared a special request arrangement of an aria that was particularly meaningful to the groom and his wife to ensure the singing waiters performance was truly unique.

The groom had requested three singing waiters - a tenor, a baritone and a mezzo soprano, all of whom perform as lead roles with the country’s top opera houses. The combination of voice types gave an incredible effect. The tenor’s magnificent rendition of “O Sole Mio” brought a standing ovation from the crowd, before the baritone had everyone waving their napkins in the air as they joined him in a rousing chorus of “Toreador”. It was then time for Carmen to serenade the gentlemen. A splendid combination of duets, trios and arias had everyone swinging their glasses in the air from side to side, which left the wedding guests screaming “Encore” !

“Everyone was overawed by the performance at our wedding. The quality of the singers was incredible and they were so entertaining. Thank you so much”
