Singing Waiters, Soho House, London

We were delighted to be invited to perform our world class singing waiters act at the internationally renowned Soho House. Soho House was founded in 1995 and is a private members’ club located in the heart of fashionable Soho, London. It is a haven away from the bustle of the streets below and a discreet getaway for members, which includes many celebrities who can be spotted coming and going from this hip establishment. It was the perfect venue for our high class surprise singing waiters act.

Lucid Productions, a prestigious London marketing company, had contacted us by way of recommendations to provide surprise entertainment as part of their “goodbye party” for a departing leading light of their highly regarded team. After more than fifteen years of dedication to the firm, Lucid Productions wanted to make sure that they put together a leaving party with panache and style that would be remembered for many years to come. They were looking for surprise entertainment with the "wow" factor, and wow factor is our specialty.

Our singing waiters consisted of a tenor and a soprano, both of whom perform at the highest level with the country’s top opera houses in London and all over the UK. Disguised as the French head waiter and his second in command they served champagne and canapés blending in with the other waiting staff and providing exemplary service.

The French head waiter, with a French accent the French would be proud of, made an announcement which fooled all the guests as he broke into song bringing a standing ovation and not a dry eye in the house as he hit the final high note of Nessum Dorma. Carmen was next serenading the gentlemen and the guest of honour with roses as she wowed the audience with the Habanera.  A selection of wonderful arias and duets followed to rapturous applause. As part of our singing waiters show we were asked to incorporate a special request “Nobody Does It Better” – what better song to dedicate to a departing VIP?! There were cheers and tears as the singers sang a specially arranged version of the song as a moving finale to a fantastic show. Lucid Productions kindly wrote to us to say:

"Thank you so much for making last night such a successful evening, the singing waiters were superb! It was an incredible performance which everyone is still talking about today!"
